This show has been a long time favorite of mine and was a dream role I never thought would come true. Getting to balance comedy with drama in one character is every actor's hope and desire and I felt a lot of pressure not to screw this up because I love this show so much.
Sawako is bright, naive, unintentionally creepy, silly, sensitive, and extremely expressive. The comedic timing of her silly faces would catch me off guard every time! If you haven't seen it yet and love a slow burn rom-com, please check it out!

Even before recordings began, I could tell Austin Sisk was going to be a great director (and sound engineer!) to work with on this show.
