I've had the pleasure of being the English voice for Ae-Sun and Geum-myeong as portrayed by the incredible IU! Getting to closely look at her performance was an acting masterclass in itself.

Majority of my sessions were with Claudia and she was so quick with wrangling the script to fit the actors mouths and kept each session so pleasant to return to each day. Thank you to recording engineers Drew Gillis, Guy Arad, and Riley Finkle for keeping the energy up and chatting about how we can improve each other's work flow.

This show has been a long time favorite of mine and was a dream role I never thought would come true. Getting to balance comedy with drama in one character is every actor's hope and desire and I felt a lot of pressure not to screw this up because I love this show so much.
Sawako is bright, naive, unintentionally creepy, silly, sensitive, and extremely expressive. The comedic timing of her silly faces would catch me off guard every time! If you haven't seen it yet and love a slow burn rom-com, please check it out!
